The ECML will never be the same, boring generic trains such as the 387s, 700s and 800/801s which all have uncomfortable seats and terrible ride quality. The old HSTs and class 365s will be missed, as will the 91s once they are withdrawn by the end of the year

I thought you used to have graphics on the screen, saying the route of each train? I must have been thinking of other channels like Starlite. You definitely need to add these. It's not half as enjoyable not knowing where the trains are headed.

How did you manage to film there? They hate people filming there. Even taking a pic you've still got ask Network Rail there.

done this trip earlier in the month ,sadly wasn't allowed to film through open windows on the doors due to new rules , but a fantastic trip ,and well worth doing, we went extra and went first class , well worth treating yourself . I can also recommend to stay at the premier inn fort William as its within walking distance of the station ,so no need to worry about parking , also a little tip go to the Morrisons opposite to grab a cream tea to take away. but on the train you do get provided with a treat box and free hot drinks which we didn't expect. so well worth it for a memorable day out .currently only one train running per day due to new rules , but this may change soon

Is it easy to move arround the station platforms for spotting and photography ?, Which platforms are best to be on to ensure you see most movements ? Going mid July. Thanks
